BiographyDr. Larry Hon was born and raised in San Gabriel, California where he received his eagle scout badge, taught swimming, and tutored children in science. He graduated from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and received his Bachelor’s degree in Physiological Sciences.
Dr. Hon continued his education at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) where he earned his Master’s degree in Biology with a focus on advancing the understanding of the pathogenic mechanisms and virulence factors of bacterial infections. During his studies, Dr. Hon developed an interest in oral infections and moved from research to dentistry at UNLV School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Following his passion for educating children, he decided to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry and completed his two-year residency at UNLV. Dr. Hon was awarded his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry with a research publication in the journal NATURE and is also board qualified for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Services & Specialties
When he’s not working, he’s taking care of his daughter, playing video games, or reading comic books. Dr. Hon is currently a Captain in the United States Army Reserves. He attends Battle Assembly one weekend per month and Annual Training two weeks a year.
