Dental Hygienists
An annual tooth and mouth check-up is necessary for good oral health. Here at Absolute Dental, our goal is to prevent you from experiencing tooth problems before they happen. That’s why we have a dedicated group of dentistry professionals ready to help you take good care of your teeth. It starts with an examination and X-rays of your entire mouth. We will also offer an oral cancer screening. Then we will provide you with a thorough cleaning of all your teeth to make them feel clean and polished. It doesn’t take long and will keep your teeth healthy and make your smile great!
All of our dental hygienists are registered and licensed, having received specific education to become dental hygienists. They are required to renew their licenses annually, and some of our dental hygienists also have extra certifications in procedures for local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation, Arestin treatments, and laser-assisted dental therapy. All of them are proud of their professional career achievements. Their education is how our dental hygienists provide you with the best knowledge and care you deserve.
We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed when you come for your annual routine teeth cleaning. We will walk you through, explaining every step of the process, and answer your questions. We want to teach you how to keep your teeth healthy for a lifetime. The education we provide can help relieve your fears and anxiety about dental procedures and explain why oral health is important to your overall health.
We think an annual exam doesn’t have to be something you dread. Instead, we want you to look forward to visiting our dentist’s office yearly. We want you to feel treated with compassion, care, understanding, and sensitivity to your particular needs.
Our dentistry practice also focuses on pediatric and senior dental services too. We’d love to have your whole family come in. From the kids to the grandparents, we’ll help you take good care of your teeth. We provide dental services in the following Nevada cities: Las Vegas, Reno, Carson City, Minden, and Sparks.

I became interested in dental hygiene through my hygienist. She got my gums healthy and I was impressed. I decided I wanted to do that too. I can say it is very satisfying getting to know patients and being able to impact their dental health. I’m the friendly neighborhood hygienist. My goal for each patient is to optimize their dental health by what is done in the dental appointment and what I teach them to do at home.

She received their Associate of Applied Science from El Paso Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. Along with receiving certifications in Local Anesthesia: Nitrous Oxide and Laser-Assisted Dental Therapy.
Liany Castillejos

Liany has been in the dental field for over 30 years. She has lived in Guam working in oral surgery, pediatric, endodontics, and periodontal specialty offices. She graduated from the College of Southern Nevada and became a Dental Hygienist in 2015. Upon graduation, Liany was a recipient of the award Excellence in Periodontics, provided by The Western Society of Periodontology. Liany is passionate about dentistry and has enjoyed educating and encouraging patients to maintain their good oral health. She loves providing quality dental care and her goal is to help each patient achieve a healthier smile. Her friendly approach makes it easy for her patients to feel comfortable under her care. In her spare time, she enjoys reading books, baking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
